Ingredients

- day-old bread7 oz
- garlic clove6
- serrano ham2.75 oz
- sweet paprika1 tbsp
- chicken broth1.25 qt
- egg4
- olive oil4 tbsp
- salt1 pinch
Method

Brown the sliced garlic in the olive oil in a casserole.

Add the chopped serrano ham cubes and the day-old bread in thin slices and sauté 2 minutes.

Take off the heat, add the sweet paprika and stir.

Pour in the chicken stock and simmer 10 minutes.

Crack the egg into the soup and let it poach 3-4 minutes. Taste before salting.
