Chickpeas with Shrimp
Chickpeas sautéed with shrimp, garlic and a hint of chili. A quick jarred-chickpea dish that seems like Sunday food.

- cooked chickpeas1.25 lb
- peeled shrimp11 oz
- garlic clove3
- onion1
- crushed tomato5.25 oz
- sweet paprika1 tsp
- dried chili1
- white wine1.75 fl oz
- parsley1 tbsp
- olive oil3 tbsp
- salt1 tsp
Method

Rinse and drain the cooked chickpeas.

Sauté the peeled shrimp with 1 tablespoon of olive oil over high heat 1 minute and set aside.

In the same skillet, sweat the chopped onion 6 minutes and add the sliced garlic and dried chili.

Add the sweet paprika, stir and pour in the white wine. Let it evaporate and add the crushed tomatoes for 5 minutes.

Add the chickpeas, salt and heat 3 minutes. Add the shrimp and chopped parsley and serve.
