Galician-Style Hake
Boiled hake with potatoes and onion, drizzled with an oil and paprika dressing. Simple, tasty and very homey.

Ingredients

- hake1.75 lb
- potato4
- onion1
- bay leaf1
- garlic clove4
- sweet paprika1 tsp
- hot paprika1 pinch
- olive oil6 tbsp
- salt2 tsp
Method

Peel the potato and cut into 1 cm slices. Cut the onion into quarters.

Cook the potato and onion in salted water with the bay leaf for 15 minutes.

Add the hake slices to the same pot and cook 5 minutes over low heat.

Meanwhile, brown the sliced garlic in the olive oil. Take off the heat and add the sweet and hot paprika.

Drain the fish and vegetables, place on a platter and drizzle with the hot garlic and paprika oil.
