Honey Baked Chicken Wings
Marinated in honey, garlic, lemon and paprika, they come out sticky and crisp outside and tender inside. Perfect for a weekend finger-food dinner.

- chicken wing2.75 lb
- honey4 tbsp
- garlic clove3
- lemon1
- sweet paprika2 tsp
- oregano1 tsp
- olive oil3 tbsp
- salt1 tsp
- black pepper1 pinch
Method

If the chicken wings are whole, cut them at the joint and discard the tip. Pat them dry with paper towels.

In a large bowl, mix the honey, very finely minced garlic, lemon juice, sweet paprika, oregano, olive oil, salt and black pepper.

Add the wings to the bowl and stir to coat well. Marinate at least 30 minutes in the fridge (2 hours is better).

Preheat the oven to 200 ºC (400 °F) and line a tray with baking paper.

Arrange the wings on the tray without crowding and reserve the remaining marinade.

Bake 20 minutes, flip them, brush with the leftover marinade and bake another 20 minutes, until golden and crisp.

Serve fresh out of the oven, with fries or a salad.
