Leeks Gratin with Béchamel
Boiled leeks covered with béchamel and cheese and gratinéed. Mild, creamy and very wintry.

- leek6
- milk2 cup
- flour1.5 oz
- butter1 oz
- grated cheese3.5 oz
- nutmeg1 pinch
- salt1 tsp
Method

Clean the leek, cut into 10 cm pieces and boil in salted water 12 minutes. Drain well.

Make a béchamel: melt the butter, add the flour for 2 minutes and pour in the milk little by little until it thickens. Add the nutmeg and salt.

Place the leek in a baking dish and cover with the béchamel.

Sprinkle with the grated cheese and broil at 220 °C (430 °F) 10-12 minutes.
