Ingredients
Serves 4
- chicken breast1.75 lb
- garlic clove2
- parsley2 tbsp
- lemon1
- cumin2 tsp
- sweet paprika2 tsp
- turmeric1 tsp
- oregano1 tsp
- black pepper1 pinch
- olive oil4 tbsp
- salt1 tsp
- skewer12
Method
- 1
If the skewers are wooden, soak them in water while you prepare the rest so they don't burn.
- 2
Cut the chicken breast into cubes of about 3 cm.
- 3
In a bowl, mix the olive oil, lemon juice, very finely minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, sweet paprika, turmeric, oregano, black pepper and salt.
- 4
Add the chicken to the marinade, mix well so it's coated and marinate at least 10 minutes (if you have time, 1 hour in the fridge is even better).
- 5
Thread the chicken cubes onto the skewers, about 5 or 6 per skewer.
- 6
Heat a griddle or large skillet over high heat and cook the skewers 8-10 minutes, turning every couple of minutes, until golden outside and cooked through.
- 7
Serve fresh off the heat, with a few more drops of lemon if you like.
