Spaghetti with Clams
Spaghetti with clams steamed open in white wine, garlic and parsley. Simple, seafood-y and ready in a quarter of an hour.

- spaghetti14 oz
- clam1.75 lb
- garlic clove4
- dried chili1
- white wine3.5 fl oz
- parsley3 tbsp
- olive oil5 tbsp
- salt1 tsp
Method

Leave the clams in salted water 30 minutes to release their sand.

Cook the spaghetti in salted water, 1 minute less than indicated.

Brown the sliced garlic and dried chili in the olive oil, add the clams and white wine and cover until they open (3-4 minutes).

Add the drained pasta and toss 1 minute so it absorbs the juices.

Sprinkle with the parsley and serve.
