Homemade Anise Rosquillas

Ingredients
Serves 8
- flour1 lb
- egg3
- sugar7 oz
- vegetable oil3.5 fl oz
- anise liqueur1.75 fl oz
- baking powder0.5 oz
- lemon1
Method

Beat the eggs with 150 g of sugar, the sunflower oil, anise liqueur and lemon zest.

Add the flour sifted with the baking powder until you have a soft dough that doesn't stick.

Form small balls, make a hole in the center with your finger and shape into rings.

Fry in the frying oil over medium heat until golden.

Drain and coat in the rest of the sugar.
